Narayanghat-Mugling road section remains closed from 11 am to 3 pm every day for upgradation. Now there will not be any obstructions even during day time starting from June 15, according to a statement issued by the project office on Sunday. "As there would not be much upgradation works during monsoon, we have decided to lift the usual road closure effective from June 15," said project engineer Shiva Khanal. "We will issue another statement if we see any need to enforce closure again," he added.The road section is a key route that connects the country's southern, eastern and western parts with Pokhara and Kathmandu. It is being widened under the Nepal-India Regional Trade and Transport Project. The construction works started four years ago and is to be completed by April 2017. The project has aimed to complete 40 percent of the works this year. However, only 21 percent of the works have been completed so far.
