June 7: The final rites of senior musician Ambar Gurung will be performed according to both Hindu and Buddhist rituals. Gurung died early this morning while undergoing treatment at Grande International Hospital. The body of late Gurung has been kept at Nepal Academy from the hospital and would be kept there till 3:00 pm for last tribute, said Raju Gurung, the sone of late Amber Gurung. Raju said that the final rites of his father would be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today through both rituals. People from different sectors have now started arriving at Nepal Academy Hall to pay tribute to late Gurung.
