The first of its kind in the whole world, Aircraft Museum of Nepal, situated at far western region Dhangadi, is another example of innovation at its best.The country´s first aircraft museum has been set up at Hasanpur, Dhangadhi by Capt. Bed Upreti, a Dhangadhi born local who is currently working as a pilot trainer for an airline company in Indonesia. Nepal’s first aircraft museum opened in Dhangadhi on September 17, 2014 aiming to provide visitors a chance to learn about the aviation industry and services. The museum, housed inside an old Fokker-100 aircraft of the now defunct airline Cosmic Air, has on display 200 down-sized prototypes of aircraft ranging from the first plane flown by the Wright Brothers to modern commercial and Fighter aircrafts.
